SADA LAB is now an accredited testing laboratory
We are pleased to announce that Sada Cavi S.p.A. has obtained accreditation for its in-house testing laboratory, SADA LAB, in compliance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2018 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”. The accreditation certifies the laboratory’s technical competence, impartiality, and consistent operation with regard to its accredited scope: Cable Testing.

What does “accredited laboratory” mean?
Accreditation is the formal recognition, granted by an independent authority (in Italy, Accredia is the sole national accreditation body appointed by the Government), of a laboratory’s competence and impartiality in carrying out tests. It gives test reports a high degree of reliability in terms of the quality and safety of the goods and services under verification, and guarantees international recognition. Accredia issues accreditation following a thorough process of assessment of all the necessary requirements.
Accredited laboratories enhance their credibility and authority. Thanks to the mechanism of periodic surveillance, accreditation enables laboratories to monitor their competence and compliance with both voluntary and mandatory standards, providing a benchmark for continuous improvement and for demonstrating the high quality of their work.
