On 20 June 2026, Piazza Ciro Menotti in Fiorano Modenese will host an evening of music, culture and community to celebrate an important milestone: Radio Antenna 1’s first 49 years of activity.
Promoted by the Municipality of Fiorano Modenese, the event celebrates a local organisation that, since 1977, has been an independent voice for the area: a point of reference capable of crossing generations, languages and changes, while continuing to seek new inspiration and new opportunities for people to come together.

A major free event in the heart of Fiorano Modenese
To celebrate this important anniversary, Radio Antenna 1, together with the Municipality of Fiorano Modenese, has prepared a special evening, free to attend, featuring a high-quality music programme.
Taking to the stage in Piazza Ciro Menotti will be Chapterhouse, the legendary British shoegaze band and one of the key names of the 1990s music scene. For the occasion, the band will perform Whirlpool in its entirety, the cult album released in 1991 and now being celebrated 35 years after its debut.
This will be a unique and unmissable date for all music lovers, who will have the chance to experience live an album that left a deep mark on the history of shoegaze.
Chapterhouse, Neoprimitivi e Palea on stage
The evening will also feature Neoprimitivi, a Roman collective that has won over audiences and critics with its visionary, intense and cinematic imagery. On stage, they will perform songs from Il sangue è pronto, a dark and engaging work that combines sound, atmosphere and storytelling.
Completing the programme will be Palea, a band that blends alt-rock and shoegaze through distortion, melancholy and ethereal melodies. Following the release of their first EP, Everything Will Fall Into Place, they are bringing their intense and dreamlike sound to stages across Italian clubs.
Before and after the concerts, the music will continue with a DJ set by Radio Antenna 1, accompanying the audience until 1:30 a.m.
